In the 1950s, a young and ambitious Lee Leun Kyi set foot into Hong Kong to start trading natural jadeite, which is widely regarded as the Stone of Heaven. From then onwards, the business grew and expanded into gemstones, diamonds and jewellery manufacturing. In 1990, Legar opened its doors in Singapore to unlock the potential of Southeast Asia.
